Life on the Prairies
Christina Dennis and her husband bought the land for their future family home in 2007, and spent the next seven years living in a garage on the property that had been converted into a tiny home. "I was skeptical that we could make it habitable." says Christina of the temporary home, but it allowed the couple to take the time they needed to design what would be their dream home. In 2013 the Dennis family moved into their new home, a 2,200-square-foot classic foursquare with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a spacious walkout basement. It was a labour of love that has continued to evolved through Christina's design and DIY blog, The DIY Mommy.
